  • Koko Crater Railway Trail
  • Halona Beach Cove

We started the day at the Dole plantation and tried the most amazing fresh pineapple soft serve whip. Then we hiked Koko crater mountain and swam in mermaid cove (Halona Beach Cove) from a scene in pirates of the Caribbean. The sights were so beautiful.

Day 2

  • Byodo-In Temple
  • Polynesian Cultural Center

We started off going to the very peaceful Byodo-In temple. Then toured the Polynesian Center tour and a Luau show at night.

Byodo-In Temple

Day 3

  • Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse
  • Oahu Catamarans

Hiked the Makapu’u lighthouse trail and enjoyed the great views of the ocean and Waikiki. Then we relaxed on a catamaran sail and got to enjoy some sea turtle sightings and a great bar.

Day 4

  • Kualoa Ranch
  • Mānoa Falls Trail
  • Hawaii Water Sports Center

We went on a movie scene tour at Kualoa Ranch that included Jurassic Park and a lot of other spots. Then an amazing hike to Manoa water fall and jungle trail. And lastly we cooled off at Hawaii water park.

Day 5

  • North Shore Shark Adventures
  • Waimea Valley Trail
  • Turtle Bay
  • Shark’s Cove

We started off shark cage diving – awesome experience. The sharks ranged 12-15 ft and up to 450 lbs!! We swam with them in an underwater cage.

We then hiked the Waimea Valley trail, Turtle bay, and finally a fantastic snorkeling site called Shark’s Cove where we swam with a TON of colorful fish. Probably our favorite day of the trip.

Day 6

  • Diamond Head State Monument
  • Pearl Harbor

Opened the day with a hike up Diamond Head crater and saw some great views from the top and some military lookout posts. Then we were humbled by the sites at Pearl Harbor and being just feet above the sunken Arizona battleship and walking on the USS Missouri and the USS Bowfin.
