We had a short stopover in Paris, France. My wife and I had been to Paris before, but it was our kids first time there and we wanted to see most of the tourist sites.

Day 1

  • Eiffel Tower
  • Arc de Triomphe

After checking into our apartment and grabbing a bite to eat, we made our way to the Eiffel tower. It was cold and drizzling, so it wasn’t the ideal time to visit the Eiffel. We enjoyed some wine and hung out on a park bench. After it became too cold, we left for the Arc De Triomphe. The Arc was busy as always, but we did manage to take some pretty good photos before heading to our apartment for the evening.

Day 2

  • Notre Dame
  • Louvre Museum
  • Sacre Coeur Cathedral

We left for Notre Dame the following morning. There were schoolkids everywhere, but there was no line to enter the Cathedral. I’m guessing the school year was winding down so most schools were there for field trips. We were able to explore the entire cathedral, which we hadn’t done before since parts of the Cathedral were blocked off on our previous trip. Next, we left for in search of Macaroons. We eventually found a wonderful place and had some macaroons, pastries and quiche. It was great, but I didn’t make a note of the bakery’s name. We made our way to the Louvre to take some close ups of the ‘pyramid’ windows. After snapping some pics, we walked the streets of Montmartre and visited Sacre Couer. The views were good, but would’ve been better if there were better weather/visibility.
