Day 1

Flew into PUJ airport in the Dominican Republic, got thru customs had to pay 20 bucks (10 dollars per person). Grabbed bags and got into taxi. Taxi took about 15 minutes to get to our hotel. We got in early so our room wasn’t ready they gave us our all inclusive wrist bands and we had lunch and drinks. After lunch we got dropped off at our room the Junior suite (Catalonia – Punta Cana). We got settled in the room changed into beach attire and headed out to the beach and pool. First we went to the beach for about 1 hour then we went to the pool at grabbed drinks at the pool bar. Once we got back to the room we showered and got ready for dinner. We ate at 4/5 restaurants that you needed to make reservations. The first night we did Yuca which is Caribbean food.  After dinner we went to the casino.

Day 2

Day two we started day off with some breakfast in pool attire and went straight to pool after breakfast to hangout by the bar. While at the bar we saw a group of people doing water aerobics with a hotel entertainer and decided to join. Then once the aerobics was done they brought out a inflatable water obstacle course that I participated in. Once we got back to the room we went to the second reserved restaurant Rodeo Steak House. We then headed to the night club to watch the MMA fight and danced the rest of the night.

Day 3

Grabbed breakfast first day 3 and headed to the pool for some more drinks. The entertainment group came out and had a cocktail contest that I participated in. After the contest we had Bachata lessons at the pool. We showered and headed to the Italian restaurant. We went to the casino then we danced again to end the night.

Day 4: Hoyo Azul & Zip lines

We woke up at 7 am because we had to grab some breakfast before heading out on our excursion to the Hoyo Azul & Zip lines. We got on the bus at 8:10 am and they had to make two more pick ups. We got to the main lobby of Scape park where are excursions where located around 8:50 am. The first excursion we did was the Hoyo Azul (Blue Hole). We had a tour guide and a photographer with us and a group of about 15 people. We took off around 9 am where we walked to the Hoyo Azul. It was about a 10 minute walk but the tour guide shows medicinal plants and other plants from Dominican Republic so the walk tour about 40-45 minutes. Once we got to the Hoyo Azul we got to swim for an hour. This was my favorite part trip the water was amazing and so clear. After the Hoyo Azul we got lunch and headed to our next activity. We walked out with the zip line guides, got prepped and had a quick class about safety and regulations. We went on 8 lines some really short, short, medium, long, and one super long. We also had to climb some pretty step hills during the zip line excursion. Once we got back to the hotel we took showers got some rest then grabbed dinner at our third reservation place the Italian restaurant. After dinner my Fiancé and I participated in the couples activity. We did the casino once again end our night my Fiancé did some karaoke and we danced at the night club.

Day 5

This was our last day we had breakfast headed out to the beach and said good bye to the hotel staff who was amazing the whole trip. We took a taxi to the airport and flew back home.
