Bermuda in 5 Days

Day 1

Arrived in the afternoon and took a taxi to our hotel, The Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club (20 min drive). In Bermuda, tourists can’t rent cars so taxis are your best option. Spent the rest of the day at the resort and ate at the hotel’s restaurants (all very good).

Day 2

  • Royal Naval Dockyard
  • Little Venice

Took the ferry (dock is 5 minute walk from the resort) to the Royal Dockyard. The ferry ride was beautiful, but in January there wasn’t much open at the Dockyard. We were able to go in a few shops but it’d be better in the summer.

Afterwards, we took the hotel’s shuttle to their private beach, which was very nice. In January it’s too cold to get in the water but warm enough to sit out in the sun (upper 60s, low 70s).

Ate at Little Venice – highly recommend. 10-15 min walk from hotel.

Day 3

  • Horseshoe Bay Beach
  • Jobson’s Cove
  • Crystal and Fantasy Caves
  • St.George’s
  • Unfinished Church
Horseshoe Bay Beach

We rented a Twizy, which is a very small electric car that tourists are allowed to drive. We went to Horseshoe Bay Beach and Jobson’s Cove to see the pink sand. Absolutely worth renting a Twizy and going out.

Jobson’s Cove

Then went to the caves – very unique and also worth doing.

Went to St. George’s for lunch and walking around – adorable place that you should definitely go to. The Unfinished Church is just that, worth a stop.

Day 4

  • Ocean Discovery Centre @ Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI)
  • Waterlot Inn

Weather was bad so we went to the underwater exploration institute. Good way to kill a few hours on a rainy day, interesting things about the Bermuda Triangle.

Hung out at the resort the rest of the day and ate at the Waterlot Inn – amazing, best meal of the trip.

Day 5

Shopped in Hamilton and had lunch at the Swizzle Inn – another place you have to eat at. Flew home in the afternoon.

Bermuda was beautiful, easily accessible from the US, and very, very expensive.
